do you have any thoughts on a scope for it? I'm in the market for one and not sure what to get.

I ordered a set of Burris Signature Zee Rings High 420531 to use to mount my scope.

Even without a scope on it yet that shotgun looks SICK! :D

I love it.

I think 3x9 is a bit overpowered for the purpose...... Remember that lower power scopes allow longer eye relief, something to consider when taking recoil into account.

Here's the Natchez page for slughunter scopes. It seems they are out of a bunch of em. Not sure how long you want to wait till they get some in stock again.

This is the refurbished scopes page as well....maybe something there will strike your fancy....

Well I finally got out to zero in my new setup (H&R 1871 ultra slug hunter, nikon slughunter BDC 200, burris signature zee rings, lightfield slugs) and I couldn't be happier. This thing is an absolute tack driver at 75 yards (haven't had a chance to really test it out). Anyone looking for a slug gun for hunting should seriously consider this shotgun. You can't beat the accuracy and quality for the price.
