Hello all,
I'm new to shotguns and recently became a first time owner of a 12 gauge H&R Pardner Pump Protector with 18.5" barrel & bead sight. Courtesy of accumulated Christmas gift cards to Academy Sports and Outdoors. Hoping to expand my knowledge on proper techniques regarding weapon maintenance and safe shooting. Weapon's main duty is for home defense and target range. Current add on are simple: slip-on Limbsaver (size: sm), nylon buttstock shell holder, & sling.
I mostly shoot a Glock 30SF and S&W 457 (both .45 caliber). Reviews I've seen says the "Parder" kicks like an angry mule so hopefully, the Limbsaver will make a difference. Don't know if I'm "recoil sensitive" as I've never fired a 12 gauge before. I'll have to find out at the range.
